This Privacy Policy explains how TAZARA FZ-LLC, operating TAZEET, and any operator identified for a local service (“TAZEET”, “we”, “us”) collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information through TAZEET websites, apps, support, marketplace, payment-facilitation, fulfillment, and related services.

1. Information we collect

  • Account and identity: name, email, phone, credentials, account identifiers, date of birth where needed, and verification information.
  • Orders and delivery: products, amounts, addresses, delivery instructions, invoices, returns, refunds, warranties, and support history.
  • Payment information: payment method, transaction identifiers, status, fraud signals, and limited card information supplied by approved processors. TAZEET does not need your complete card security code after authorization.
  • Device and usage: IP address, device and browser, app version, language, approximate location, events, searches, clicks, crashes, and security logs.
  • Communications and content: support contacts, marketplace messages, reviews, reports, survey responses, and files you choose to provide.
  • Optional permissions: precise location, camera, photos, contacts, or notifications only when a feature requires them and your device permits access.

2. Why we use information

We process information to create and secure accounts; display and personalize the marketplace; process orders, payments, delivery, returns, and support; communicate transaction and safety notices; prevent fraud and abuse; verify sellers; enforce policies; improve performance and accessibility; measure advertising; maintain records; establish or defend legal claims; and comply with tax, consumer, payment, sanctions, product-safety, and other laws.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests that do not override your rights, protection of vital interests, or consent. You may withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the basis.

3. Personalization and automated tools

We may use browsing, order, device, and approximate-location signals to rank products, recommend offers, detect suspicious activity, and protect accounts. Automated tools may flag a transaction or account for review. Where required, you may request meaningful human review of a decision that produces a significant legal or similar effect.

4. Who receives information

We share only what is reasonably necessary with the seller for an order; payment processors and banks; carriers, warehouses, and delivery partners; identity, fraud, security, cloud, analytics, communications, and customer-support providers; professional advisers and insurers; corporate affiliates involved in the Services; and authorities or claimants where law or valid process requires it. Sellers are independent businesses for information they must process to complete sales and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information for money. If a local law defines targeted advertising or certain data sharing as a “sale” or similar activity, we will provide the required choice.

5. International transfers

TAZEET operates across markets and uses providers in more than one country. Information may therefore be processed outside the country where you live. We use contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards required by applicable law and assess transfer restrictions where necessary.

6. Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, account operation, orders and warranties, fraud prevention, disputes, tax and accounting, product recalls, legal claims, and regulatory obligations. Retention varies by record and market. Information is deleted, anonymized, or access-restricted when no longer needed, unless preservation is required by law.

7. Security

We use access controls, encryption where appropriate, monitoring, secure development, provider reviews, and incident-response procedures. No system is completely secure. Protect your password and one-time codes and report suspicious activity promptly. TAZEET will notify affected people and authorities of qualifying incidents as required by law.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on your market, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, consent withdrawal, marketing opt-out, information about processing, or review of certain automated decisions. Rights may be limited by identity verification, another person’s rights, fraud prevention, legal privilege, tax or record duties, and other lawful exceptions.

Use account settings or the Contact Us page. Describe the request and marketplace used. We may verify identity and authorized-agent status before responding. You may complain to the competent privacy or consumer authority in your market.

9. Cookies and marketing

The Cookie Policy explains browser and app technologies. You can unsubscribe from promotional email or SMS through the message or account preferences. Essential order, recall, security, and policy communications will continue.

10. Children

TAZEET is not designed for children to create independent purchasing accounts. If a child may lawfully use a service with a parent or guardian, the adult must supervise it. Contact us if you believe a child’s information was collected contrary to law.

11. Changes and contact

Material changes will be announced through the Services or a durable contact channel before they take effect where required. For privacy questions or requests, use the support address and legal/privacy subject line shown on the Contact Us page. Never email passwords, one-time codes, or complete payment-card details.
